Frequently asked questions

About the tool, the data source, and the SEO value.

What is the Google keyword research tool?
A free tool that scans a seed word from A to Z in Google's autocomplete data. It adds each letter to the end of the word. It collects Google's live suggestions for each one. So you see dozens of real keywords at once.
Where do the suggestions come from?
Straight from Google's public autocomplete service. Google builds them from real searches. So they reflect real behaviour, not guesses. See Google's explainer: how Google autocomplete works.
Does the tool show search volume?
No exact monthly volume. But a suggestion in autocomplete is a strong sign the search is popular. Pair it with Google Keyword Planner for hard numbers.
Is the tool free? Are there limits?
Completely free, no account. A daily limit of 10 searches protects the server. It resets every day.
Which letters does it scan?
All of a to z, including w, x, y and z. Every suggestion is lowercased and duplicates removed, so "cheap phone" and "phone cheap" appear once.
Why do I see each suggestion only once?
Duplicates are removed automatically. Case, accents and word order are ignored. So "cheap phone" and "phone cheap" count as the same and appear once.
Why are these suggestions valuable for SEO?
Autocomplete shows intent and long-tail keywords directly. You find content ideas. You shape titles around real questions. You catch low-competition niche keywords.
Which modes are scanned, do I need to select them?
No selection needed. The scan covers the a-z letters (including w and x), suffixes (left prefix optional), question phrases and prepositions. All at once, without duplicates.
How do I use the results?
Copy all or download a CSV. Turn questions into titles. Move comparison keywords to product pages. Split the long tail into clusters.
